George Ujvary

My name is George Ujvary and I am a part time amateur photographer from Adelaide, South Australia. Whilst I have been taking pictures since I was a young child, I starting taking my photography seriously in January, 2008. I have just started entering APS national and international competitions and I look forward to meeting many new people in the process.

I currently working in the South Australian food industry but was educated in physiological sciences after studying at the University of Adelaide and the University of Oxford, UK.

My approach is to produce images that are reminiscent of a scene in my memory rather than merely that which is seen by the naked eye. I refer to these images as nostalgic memoirs.

More of my work can be seen at:

This image was taken in my old college chapel in Hertford College, University of Oxford.
