TOUR 1 – Numinbah Valley

9:00am – 4:30pm
Friday 14th September 2018
Cost: $80.00 pp

This tour will depart HOTA (the Arts Centre Gold Coast) at 8am for diverse day of photography in the Numinbah Valley. We will also pickup from the Public Car park opposite the Turf Club (1 km form HOTA) at 8.15.

The first stop will be Natural Bridge where an ice cream van will be serving ice cream treats and coffee on arrival. 2 hours will be spent exploring and photographing this beautiful area where waterfalls, flowing creeks and fungi are just a few of the subjects to be found. The next stop will be for lunch (Included) at the Natural Arch Cafe Restaurant.

The tour will then head to the Numinbah Valley Adventure Trails Farm   (http://www.numinbahtrails.com )  where we’ll spend approximately 1.30 hrs photographing tumble down buildings, farm machinery, horses, dogs, landscapes and more. Before we leave to head back to the Arts Centre we’ll be treated to damper and tea.

You will need your favourite camera with spare batteries and cards as well as long and wide-angle lens’ plus a macro if you wish. Bring a tripod and filters (for slow shutter speed work) if you wish.

Please wear sturdy, closed in shoes and bring a weather proof jacket in case of damp weather. Sunscreen and insect repellent would also be good additions to your bag.

Bottled water, lunch and afternoon tea are included in this tour.

TOUR 2 – Canungra Valley & Albert River

6:00am – 4:30pm
Friday 14th September 2018
Cost: $80.00 pp

Includes return bus travel, Horse training show, Lunch at Albert River and Winery/show. 

Aquis Horse stud for early morning training of the young horses and then photograph new foals (perhaps show jumping in the afternoon). Lunch and tour at the Albert River Winery where we see dog trials and whip cracking. Water provided on bus. Take tripods, telephoto/wide lenses and a hat. Tripods will have to be left outside the foal breeding areas. You may need a jacket in the early hours of horse training.

TOUR 3 – Tweed River

8:15am – 5:00pm
Friday 14th September 2018
Cost: $80.00 pp

Bus to and from boat. This is a relaxing cruise up the beautiful Tweed River with a barbeque lunch and opportunities to take scenery and bird photos. Take macro/telephoto/wide lenses a hat and insect repellent.
