Points are based on acceptances in National or International exhibitions. Acceptances only count if the exhibition is approved by one or more of the following organizations - APS, FIAP, PSA, RPS and PSNZ. From Year 2000, small print sections (allows smaller than 25 x 20cm (10 x 8") or sections not open to all applicants, eg novice or local entrants only cannot be counted (All international and national acceptances gained prior to Year 2000 may be counted). 1 acceptance = 1 point (if from approved National Exhibition), 1 acceptance = 2 points (if from approved International Exhibition). May only count a maximum of 4 acceptances per exhibition. So, a National exhibition is worth a maximum of 4 points and an international is worth a maximum of 8 points. Acceptances gained prior to APS membership may be counted. Images selected to represent their state in the Allied Camera Clubs Comp, or to represent the APS in the Trans Tasman or FIAP Biennial competitions gain honours points. Conditions apply. See full details on honours application documents. Points that are used for APS Honours may be from any medium/section that comply as above, to a maximum of four per exhibition. Points that are used for Certificate of Achievement are restricted to the medium or section being sought.
