The Youth Division
This Division/Folio has been reinstated in the APS due to the growing number of members who are under the age of 19.
Joining the Youth Folio if of major benefit to members who participate in the web based system. Members upload an image once a month and are encouraged to comment and score on other youth members images. At the end of the round, scores are added and a senior member of the Society makes constructive comments to each members image. This is designed to get the youth member active in their photography and to learn to assess not only their own images but other people's as well.
Images from the folios are shown at the APS annual conference, APSCON, each year.
